About the Author

Agatha Christie's career spanned more than fifty years and included eighty books as well as fourteen plays. Declared the "champion deceiver of our time" (_New York Times_), she is best known in the U.S. for her classic novel And Then There Were None as well as her novels featuring Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple. Her work has been the subject of numerous films and TV dramas over the past seventy-five years. She died in 1976.
